Membership Terms & Conditions

General Conditions

Participation in events and activities sponsored or organized by After Arts LLC (“After Arts”) is a member benefit, and is intended solely to provide opportunities for individual members to advance After Arts mission. Self-promotion of one’s products, services, or otherwise soliciting members for any business or personal purpose is prohibited, and is cause for removal of membership and/or denial of future participation in events and activities sponsored or organized After Arts. The materials shared by After Arts in conjunction with events and activities sponsored or organized by After Arts are After Arts use only, and are not to be shared, licensed, or distributed outside of the After Arts events or activities.

Membership Fees and Payment

Legacy Members (members before July 15, 2024):

  • Prelude: $9 / month or $108 annually

  • Sonata: $30 / month or $360 annually

  • Duo: $60 / month or $720 annually

  • Patron: $120 / month or $1440 annually

New Members (joining after July 15, 2024):

  • Prelude: $12 / month or $144 annually

  • Sonata: $36 / month or $432 annually

  • Duo: $70 / month or $840 annually

  • Patron: $140 / month or $1680 annually

Payment Methods:

Accepted Payment Methods: Membership fees shall be paid exclusively through Stripe, a third-party payment processing service.

Automatic Renewal: All memberships are subject to automatic renewal at the end of the membership term unless the member opts out of automatic renewal in accordance with the cancellation procedures set forth herein. By providing payment information, the member authorizes After Arts to charge the applicable membership fees to the designated payment method at the time of renewal.

Billing Cycles:

Billing Frequency: Members may choose to be billed on a monthly or annual basis.

Commitment Period: Memberships are subject to a twelve (12) month commitment period. In the event of early cancellation, members will continue to receive membership benefits until the end of the twelve (12) month period and will be billed monthly if on a monthly plan.

Billing Date: Billing dates are determined based on the initial enrollment date and will recur on the same date each month or year thereafter.

Refund Policy

Refund Conditions: Refunds may be issued under specific circumstances, including but not limited to errors in billing or failure by After Arts to deliver promised services.

Partial Refunds: No partial refunds will be issued for early cancellations.

Trial Period: There is no trial period or money-back guarantee offered.

Membership Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Procedure: Members wishing to cancel their membership must send an email to membership@theafterartsgroup.com with the word “cancel” in the subject line or body of the email, including the member’s full name.

Member Benefits

Access to After Arts Portal: All members are granted access to the After Arts Portal. The specific benefits for each membership tier are as follows:

  • Prelude: Access to select events based on availability.

  • Sonata: Access to all events and guest access for select events.

  • Duo: Access to all events, guest access for select events, and complimentary access to Cultural Partner events.

  • Patron: Access to all events, prioritized complimentary guest access, a 48-hour advanced ticketing window, and complimentary access to Cultural Partner events.

Guest Access:

Limitations on Guest Attendance: Guest attendance at events is limited to ensure a quality experience for all members. Patron members will have first priority for guest tickets, followed by Duo members. Sonata members will have access to any remaining guest tickets within a specified timeframe prior to the event. After Arts reserves the right to allocate guest access at events based on discretion and event capacity considerations.

Event Access

Ticket Allocation: After Arts reserves the right to allocate event tickets to membership tiers based on discretion and event capacity considerations. Patron, Duo, and Sonata members will have access to all events, while Prelude members will have access subject to availability. Patron members will benefit from a 48-hour advanced ticketing window.

Guest Policies

Guest Privileges: Guest privileges are reserved for Patron, Duo, and Sonata level members.

Additional Costs: After Arts reserves the right to determine the pricing for guest tickets.

Guest Limits: The number of guests allowed per member may vary by event. Initially, eligible tiers are permitted to bring one guest. If event capacity permits, additional guest passes may be released to select tiers. After Arts reserves the right to adjust guest allowances based on ticket sales and event capacity.

Ticketing Information

Distribution Method: Event tickets will be distributed electronically.

Reservation and Cancellation Deadlines:

  • Sonata and Prelude Members: Tickets can be canceled up to 7 days before the event, after which no refunds will be issued.

  • Patron and Duo Members: Tickets can be canceled up to 48 hours before the event. If canceled within 48 hours of the event, the ticket price will be refunded, but the member will be charged a $50 cancellation fee.

  • Three Strikes Policy for Patron Members: Patron members who no-show or late cancel within 48 hours three times may have certain privileges removed, at the discretion of After Arts.

Community Rules & Etiquette and Privacy Guidelines

Thank you for being part of our community. To ensure the best possible experience for all members, we have established some basic guidelines for participation.

By joining and using this community, you agree that you have read and will follow these rules and guidelines. You also agree to reserve discussions and shared materials and content to that best suited to the medium. This is a great medium with which to participate in ongoing conversations on topics of mutual interest related to music and the arts. In order to preserve an environment that encourages both civil, fruitful and safe interactions, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate membership in this community for anyone who violates these rules.

The Rules

Consent to use at events or activities. By attending, participating or contributing content to an event, activity or electronic forum sponsored or organized by After Arts, each member consents to the use of any images, pictures, video or audio recordings or other content produced in connection with any event, activity, or forum.

Respect others. Focus on the content of any event, production or discission, and not on the people performing, organizing or producing them. Please extend the benefit of the doubt to newer guests and members; there’s no such thing as a stupid question. Everyone is a novice at some point.

Respect the purpose of the community. Use the community to share successes, challenges, constructive feedback, questions, and goals. If you’ve found our forums to be useful, helpful, or entertaining, please share your experience with the group in a respectful way.

Use caution when discussing products and services. Information shared at events or posted in discussion groups and in any recordings or archive is available for all to see, and comments are subject to libel, slander, and antitrust laws.

Civility. All defamatory, abusive, profane, threatening, offensive, or illegal materials are strictly prohibited. Do not write anything in communications to other members that you would not want the world to see or that you would not want anyone to know came from you.

Respect intellectual property. Post content that you have personally created or have permission to use and have properly attributed to the content creator.

When posting items in our collaborative environment, please indicate if the item is not available for reuse. It’s also advisable to contact the owner of any material if you would like to reuse it.

Member Group Etiquette

Any After Arts members that are service providers may not solicit or advertise to other After Arts members about their services as part of any After Arts activity, event, or forum. This includes communications that encourage private conversations outside of After Arts activities, events, or forums (i.e. “I can help with that, give me a call after/later/tomorrow”). All posts within a forum are expected to support and advance the goals and mission of After Arts and its members and should not be used as a method for personal advertising.

Failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions will result in the immediate prohibition from attendance and participation in After Arts activities, events and forums for a period to be determined by the Designated Manager of After Arts or their designee.

Legal Statements

After Arts activities, events and forums are provided as a service for the members. After Arts is not responsible for the opinions and information posted on this site by others. We disclaim all warranties with regard to information posted on this site, whether posted by After Arts or any third party; this disclaimer includes all implied warranties of merchantability and fitness. In no event shall After Arts be liable for any special, indirect, or consequential damages or any damages whatsoever resulting from loss of use, data, or profits, arising out of or in connection with the use or performance of any information shared in any After Arts activities, events or forums.

Do not make, shared, write, or post any defamatory, abusive, profane, threatening, offensive, or illegal materials in any After Arts forum. Do not make, shared, write, or post any information or other material protected by copyright without the permission of the copyright owner. By sharing material, the sharing party warrants and represents that he or she owns the copyright with respect to such material or has received permission from the copyright owner. In addition, the sharing party grants After Arts and users of this site the nonexclusive right and license to display, copy, publish, distribute, transmit, print, and use such information or other material.

In any electronic on on-line forum, messages should not be posted if they encourage or facilitate members to arrive at any agreement that either expressly or impliedly leads to price fixing, a boycott of another's business, or other conduct intended to illegally restrict free trade. Messages that encourage or facilitate an agreement about the following subjects are inappropriate: prices, discounts, or terms or conditions of sale; salaries; profits, profit margins, or cost data; market shares, sales territories, or markets; allocation of customers or territories; or selection, rejection, or termination of customers or suppliers.

After Arts will not actively monitor any on-line or electronic site for inappropriate postings and does not on its own undertake editorial control of any postings or content. However, in the event that any inappropriate posting is brought to the attention of the Designated Manager all appropriate action will be taken.

After Arts reserves the right to terminate access to any on-line or electronic site to any member who does not abide by these guidelines.

Privacy Statement

Any personal information you provide to After Arts including and similar to your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address will not be released, sold, or rented to any entities or individuals outside of our organization except as noted below.

Our Service Providers

We may share your personal information with companies (including any affiliates that may be formed in the future) that perform services on our behalf, for example, companies that help process credit card payments. Our service providers are required by contract to protect the confidentiality of the personal information we share with them and to use it only to provide specific services on our behalf.

Business Transfers

Your personal information may be transferred to another entity (either an affiliated entity or an unrelated third party) in connection with a merger, reorganization, dissolution or similar corporate event. If such a transfer were ever to occur, the acquiring entity’s use of your personal information will still be subject to this Privacy Policy.

We are not responsible for the content of external internet sites. You are advised to read the privacy policy of external sites before disclosing any personal information.

Cookies

A "cookie" is a small data text file that is placed in your browser and allows us to recognize you each time you visit this site (personalization, etc). Cookies themselves do not contain any personal information, and we do not use cookies to collect personal information. Cookies may also be used by 3rd party content providers such as news-feeds.

In addition other Internet sites or services that may be accessible through our site have separate data and privacy practices independent of us, and therefore we disclaim any responsibility or liability for their policies or actions.
